As the name goes “Hellcat” you might be thinking of something really mean and nasty kind of a machine. Well you are right this ain’t no ordinary stuff, this beast has featured in the most famous movie series “ Fast And The Furious” and was Vin Diesel’s favorite.

This is a stock 707 horsepower American muscle Dodge Charger Hellcat. Now by looking at its front, it definitely lives up to that bulky low rider sports car DNA. The aggressive-looking bumper gives it a fierce presence. Beneath the bumper, it houses an air vent, which feeds the air to cool the engine and the radiator. In fact, it houses 4 other air intakes on the front side 3 on the bonnet, and 1 at the bottom near the skid plate. The sharp and sleek LED headlamps provide a massive throw up to 550 meters.

Coming to the side you’ll witness the wide rear and front body arches in order to accommodate those large 20-inch wheels. The side panels are a bit plain with not enough cuts and creases but the sheer bulkiness this car carries is quite visible in this 2.1-ton beast. Also the badging of the HELLCAT logo is visible near the front wheel arches. It looks like an angry member of the big cat family.

At the rear, it has a unique spoiler that provides a bit of downforce when cruising at high speeds in order to balance the car. Below it gets a massive twin exhaust along with the functional side fins for better aerodynamics.

The interior is a bit disappointing for a car of this stature and pricing as you get to see stuff which seems a bit last generation. The quality is alright as you get both hard and soft touch plastics , some stitching around the window panes and dashboard. It is not as plush as its german rivals are. They have tried to highlight the dash and main console with a little bit of carbon fibre, some swede on the roof and SRT badging on the steering and dashboard. You get an all electric steering wheel adjustment and seat adjustment. The seats are also ventilated with proper cushioning keeping the drive quality in mind. The back seats though , you get adequate knee room but head room is a bit tight as the rear window glass eats up the space a little bit.

The main talking point of this one of a kind beast is the engine. Its a rear wheel drive with an 8 speed automatic gear box which gets a 6.2L supercharged V8 that yields 707 HP and 881 Nm of torque. With these heavy stats it gets from 0 to 100km/h in just 3.6 seconds. Obviously after hearing these numbers the Germans tend to bow down before this magnificent and rugged masterpiece.
